
Erin Saxon is a writer and teacher from Kansas City, Missouri. Her short fiction and poetry have been featured in River Styx, Potomac Review, Sontag Mag, Last Stanza Poetry Journal, and elsewhere. She has also written for the Kansas City Star and was awarded the Writers for Readers Fellowship in 2018. She received her MFA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2019.
Possessing a diverse background as an educator, she has worked with students of all ages through in-person and online classes. She has taught as an adjunct English professor since 2016 and moved to Spain in 2020, where she had the opportunity to teach at both primary and secondary bilingual schools. Prior to this experience, she also taught creative writing courses at Literacy KC, a nonprofit aimed at helping adults improve their literacy skills. She currently lives in Boston and is working on her first novel.
